Marc Tormo, the CCO and co-founder of Games for a Living

Marc Tormo is the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) and co-founder of Games for a Living.

Marc is an expert and entrepreneur in the video game industry with more than 16 years of experience. His creativity and experience leading game design make him invaluable to the Game for a Living team.

Marc started his 16-year journey in the gaming industry at one of the biggest video game development companies in the world, Blizzard Entertainment.

In the years 2006–2012, Marc spent his time at Blizzard in the fields of quality assurance and processes and policies. “My last job at Blizzard headquarters (California) was as part of the QA team supervising the processes of titles such as World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Diablo 3, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria”.

In 2012 he returned to Spain to co-found the video game studio FrozenShard S.L., with Games for a Living COO Christian Gascons. “We launched several titles among which World War II: TCG stands out as the main project”.

In addition to WW2 TCG, Marc has been director of games such as Sports Quiz, Games Quiz, Monster Battles, Heroes Empire, Magic Quest TCG, Starquest TCG, and Farm Blocks, among others.

As CCO it is Marc’s responsibility that the games developed by Games for a Living are fun to play. Sounds simple right? Not quite. This requires the highest quality of development, game design, creatives, narratives and more! It is through his leadership and attention to detail that Marc is able to create magical gaming experiences from thin air.

Starting a career at Blizzard and then transitioning to become a successful entrepreneur and director of games has molded Marc into the game-creating sensation we know today.
